Greetings from Disney Springs! It’s a gorgeous day to stroll around and see what’s new in our favorite place to shop and eat. Let’s see what’s going on.
From the signs posted around City Works Eatery & Pour House, the restaurant is set to open in January 2020. Seeing as how we’re in the last week of January, they better hurry things up. From everything we’ve seen, it should be opening any day now. Today, we peeked through the construction hedges and were able to see some training going on.
Crew members were working away at Cirque du Soleil, preparing the building for the new show “Drawn to Life” which is set to open April 17, 2020.
A crew member was in a lift working on the lobby ceiling.

The mac & cheese truck was noticeable missing today. The cookie dough truck sat in its place.

Earlier this month, we reported that Ghiradelli’s indoor seating area was closed for refurbishment. Today we noticed that it had opened back up and that guests were utilizing the space.
The pipes that once ran across the ceiling have disappeared. The multiple small tables that used to fill the space have been traded for longer tables. The tile floor has been swapped for a hardwood.
The mural centerpiece of the space survived the refurbishment.
Standing bar style tables now line the entire space, creating more table space for guests to enjoy their ice cream treats.
