Welcome to another chilly day here at the Magic Kingdom. We’re bundled up and we’ve got our umbrella, so let’s get going.
As soon as we arrived in the park, we noticed the construction scrims covering the entirety of City Hall.
Refurbishment continues around the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. Support beams around the track have started to get updated. They’re in the process of removing the thematic elements from the 1994 New Tomorrowland.
The vertical support beams were stripped down last year but have started to receive layers of concrete in certain places. They seem to be returning the structure to the original form, complete with solid white supports.
There is some work happening on the pavement outside of the First Aid and Baby Care Center. Both locations and the restrooms are still open, but there is construction scrim in the area.
The menu has changed at The Plaza Restaurant.
If you like relish, there’s more than enough to go around at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café now that they’ve removed the crispy onion straws.
A mysterious construction box has shown up near Sleepy Hollow and the new pathway along Cinderella Castle.
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and rose cake pops and red and pink Rice Krispy treats have started to arrive at the Main Street Confectionery.
The ears and pins are sold out, but the plush, Loungefly backpack, and mugs are still available from the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection.
The first pin in the “I Collect” limited edition monthly series is now available. The pin is designed to look like a pin bag and opens to reveal a collection of Figment pins. This pin is a limited edition of 2,000 made and is $17.99.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Disney pin trading. There will be an event later this year at EPCOT. But until then, there will be a monthly countdown series of pins. Mickey is the first pin. The diamond part opens up to reveal Mickey. The pin costs $17.99.
Start your day the Disney way with the first pin in another monthly series featuring character-inspired cereal boxes. The first pin is $17.99 and features Pooh’s Hunny Pots. The pin opens up to reveal the cereal (not actual cereal).
This adorable two-pin set is $15.99 and features the Luxo ball and lamp from Pixar.
Even more new Space Mountain merchandise has arrived. This youth “I conquered Space Mountain” shirt is $19.99 inside Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.
This new Big Bad Wolf youth shirt is available inside the Emporium.
Fantasy Faire (in Fantasyland) has a new 2020 graduation ear cap for $27.99.
Thanks for following us today. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates from Magic Kingdom and the rest of Walt Disney World.
Yikes! Between the signs at Disneyland that tell you that Disneyland Resort contains chemicals that are known to the state of California to cause cancer and telling us a trading pin is not actual cereal – lawyers have run amok!
