The massive remodeling of the McDonald’s near Disney’s All-Star Resorts at Walt Disney World has reached a new milestone, as the iconic golden arches have been added to the front of the building.
The symbol that is as synonymous with the restaurant chain as Ronald McDonald or the Big Mac now adorns the awning outside the restaurant.
In our last update, we showed that the building had started to be enclosed, suggesting that interior work may begin soon. Since then, it looks like more exterior touches have been added.
Here; you can see what looks like a plant-covered wall adding some greenery to the area.
As you can see here, it looks like the arches may be illuminated when completed, though lighting has not been installed yet.
Other plant-covered walls appear elsewhere on the building, with the colors of the plants producing an image. In this case, it’s a “green” version of the golden arches.
It’s a nice touch to enhance the restaurant’s look, especially in a unique location like Walt Disney World.
The restaurant is expected to reopen to guests later this year.
