Pride and Electroland at Disneyland Paris Officially Postponed Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) Closures

With the current lockdown in France extended until May 11th, and Disneyland Paris resort closed “until further notice”, summer plans at Disneyland Paris have been unclear for a while. Now, “as a result of the unprecedented situation and in line with government measures”, Disneyland Paris has announced the official postponement of two of its most popular ticketed attractions, which were due to take place in June and July.

According to the landing pages for each event on the Disneyland Paris website, both Disneyland Paris Pride and Electroland have been “postponed”. Timeframes have been given for the replacement events, however since the dates provided are for next summer and both events take place annually, it’s fair to say that they parties have effectively been cancelled.

Originally scheduled for June 6th, Disneyland Paris Pride will now take place in June 2021 instead. This year’s event was going to be the first Pride party to take place in the main Disneyland Park, and pop sensation MIKA was set to headline.

Electroland has been allocated the new dates of July 3-5th, 2021. Martin Garrix, Dmitri Vegas and Like Mike were due to perform at this years’ Villains-themed event.

It has been stated that all tickets or hotel plus ticket packages for these events will be automatically cancelled and refunded “over the next several days”. Guests who would prefer to transfer the booking over to a different event at the park instead should contact the Central Reservation Office.

If you have been missing the magic of Disneyland Paris during these extended park closures, why not check out the new, fun-filled “Disneyland Paris at Home” website, or watch the professionally-recorded shows and performances from the parks as they are streamed weekly.
