PHOTO REPORT: Disney Springs 5/25/20 (Stormy Day Crowds, New Vera Bradley Face Masks, Rainy Outdoor Seating)

Good morning from a very wet and rainy Disney Springs. Let’s take a walk around the shopping district today.

Umbrellas and rain jackets were the name of the game today for cast members at Disney Springs.

Outdoor seating at Chicken Guy was not usable thanks to the driving rains.

Across the walkway at Wolfgang Puck, the outdoor seating has once again returned to the alley patio after briefly being moved out front of the store.

As people arrived at Disney Springs, most seemed to congregate under the cover adjacent to Planet Hollywood.

Umbrellas were a popular item at Sugarboo & Co.

Vera Bradley still has masks for sale, albeit with a different flowered pattern than had been previously available. Meanwhile, American Threads was out of masks, while stores like Volcom have yet to receive their anticipated shipments.

Crowds were pretty light as the morning progressed.

Even The Landing was relatively empty.

Sprinkles remains closed, so the effects of the new menu changes have yet to be felt throughout the cupcake-adoring crowds.

Work on the new Lululemon store was quiet today.

The same was applicable over at the Shine Bar + Social site.

Signs were up at Starbucks by World of Disney notifying fans that they can now mobile order their drinks on the Starbucks app. Guests looking for the “Welcome Back” drink will have to wait in line, as it is not available on the app.

Today’s rain meant changes to the pickup area. The table and ropes have been removed so guests can wait for their drinks under the roof by the pickup window.

A plexiglass barrier now sits in the window where guests can get their items.

The LEGO Store has added ropes to block off their overhang.

It was a quiet day down by The Marketplace.

Similarly, the West Side was also devoid of crowds.

That wraps up our visit to Disney Springs today. Stay tuned to WDWNT for the latest in Disney parks news.
