CONFIRMED: Park Hopping Will No Longer Exist at Walt Disney World, For Now

We knew that it was likely coming, as we’ve been talking about how unlikely the ability to “park hop” would be under the new Disney Park Pass Reservation System, but today Disney officially confirmed the news:

Please note, park reservations are limited in number and subject to availability. Availability can change until the reservation is finalized. At this time, guests will be able to select one park per day; visiting more than one park per day will be temporarily unavailable upon the reopening of the theme parks due to attendance limitations. Guests with existing tickets that include the Park Hopper Option or Park Hopper Plus Option have options available to them for ticket modifications and cancellations, and can visit DisneyWorld.com/Updates for more information. We hope to bring back the ability to visit more than one park per day soon and will continue to offer these add-ons for 2021 ticket purchases.

  1. Pipe dream I’m sure but any concessions for APs? Truly dont care but very curious. Our typical day is a.m. park pool p.m. park/dinner. To that point what about re-entry? And I assume I can go to a water park then to MK? Thanks for all the reporting

  2. They don’t care about APs. If they did they would have concessions pre planned like first visit to the parks instead of allowing hotel/resort guests get 4 days of reservations before us. Why not they already have our money. Not to mention the fact that our platinum unlimited access and park options are just paper weights

    • i am thinking the same as you,Peter, i buy 6 platinum AP a year at about $6000 a year and have been going to the parks, starting 1971, for all that money i can’t even go when i want to,or where i want to are how long i want. i am a vet with no leg, in a chair and Disney was really the only place i could go and have unlimited fun.

  3. Will the lightsaber and droid building workshops be reopening with the opening dates of the parks?

  4. I think the only thing hopping in the park will be the Covid-19 from one family to the next. But, hey, that’s just me.

  5. wait! those that mean that EVERYTHING in Walt Disney World will return to normal by the start of 2021?
