NBA Players to Be Housed at Three Specific Hotels Across Walt Disney World Resort; To Be Tested Nightly for COVID-19

Now that the NBA has been approved to finish out its 2019-2020 season in Orlando, that leaves the important question of where will these players stay?

Rumors have been flying recently with Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House or Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort being potential candidates for housing the teams. Recently, ESPN announced that according to inside sources, “NBA teams will be contained to three specific hotels within the Disney complex.”

It is also worth mentioning that it was reported all players will be tested for COVID-19 every night “in the contained campus environment.” This should help keep everyone, both players and staff at the resorts, safe. As an added safety measure, the players or their families will not be allowed entrance to the theme parks.

Biggest question I still have about this is are they going to quarantine and test the cast members at the resort as well? Or are they going to be returning to their families and living their daily lives thru this and posing a chance of being vectors to being the virus into this “closed campus”. And if they do quarantine them how much bonus pay will they be getting etc.

Will Disney screw up again and let the NBA players take over some of the hotels.that wouldn’t surprise me! Let the NBA bring all there money and leave the families who have promised their little ones a Disney vacation.Dont do it Disney.

I guess if you’re a celebrity or a professional athlete you can get tested for covid as much as you need while the ordinary person can go without. I guess karma will play a part when nobody watches.
