Tri-State Area Now Requiring 14-Day Quarantine For Travelers from Florida Due to Surge in Coronavirus Cases

With an ongoing quarantine in place for all guests from the Tri-State Area traveling to Florida, given the rising number of cases in Florida, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has reciprocated with a similar quarantine for all guests traveling in from states with high rates of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

The travel advisory will go into effect starting midnight tonight, and will apply to guests traveling in from Florida, among other affected states. Individuals traveling from these states must quarantine for 14 days.

Those who live in the Tri-State Area must now consider the logistics of a two-week quarantine upon their return from a visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, or any tourist destination in Florida.

  1. You really can’t blame the Tri-state areas. They stayed the course and got their stuff under control making huge sacrifices. Those other states, most noticeably Florida and Texas, didn’t listen to science. Let’s hope they control it before they turn into NY, or NJ as far as deaths and cases. And No, I’m not from either of those 3 states. Just a casual observer from another state that went with science rather than listening to business.

  2. I think technically your last paragraph should indicate that there is a two week quarantine upon arrival from the tri-state area and then upon return. LOL a one week visit is now a 5 week adventure if you follow the rules.

  3. I hope this will be lifted by the last week of August.
I need to work. I can’t stay home. All I will do is sleep and get off my routine that I have.
