California Grill, Chef Mickey’s, Beaches & Cream, and More Restaurants Added to Mobile Dine Waitlist Service on My Disney Experience

If you’re wandering around the Walt Disney World Resort and are looking to drop in for an impromptu dinner at a resort hotel, the new Mobile Dine Waitlist Service on My Disney Experience can help you check wait times at select resort restaurants as well as remotely add you to the restaurant’s waitlist, so you can dine without having to plan too much ahead.

The service has just added a number of new restaurants to the lineup:

  • Ale & Compass Restaurant at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort
  • Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
  • California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  • Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  • The Wave… of American Flavors at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

The following restaurants were previously available:

  • Kona Cafe at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
  • Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Kidani Village
  • Topolino’s Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera at Disney’s Riviera Resort
  • Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Some of the quieter restaurants, like Ale & Compass Restaurant, have a wait time of just 5 minutes. The Walk-Up list will activate once you’re closer to the resort restaurant.

Chef Mickey’s, also at just 5 minutes, is seeing considerably shorter wait times without its popular characters. The Wave, however, seems particularly busy for brunch this morning, with an estimated wait of 45 minutes for a Party of 4.

Topolino’s Terrace, currently the only character breakfast on property, is also fairly popular, with waits of up to 35 minutes for a Party of 4.

You can access the Mobile Dine Waitlist on My Disney Experience by checking the “Now” option under “Search by Time”. Of course, this only works for same-day availability.

In order to facilitate social distancing and minimize unnecessary interactions at the check-in podium, parties of 7 or less can put themselves on the Walk-up list. Parties of 8 guests or more must still inquire at the podium for walk-up availability.
