Even with some projects being indefinitely postponed or modified around EPCOT, it looks like at least one job may be resuming.
We spotted construction crews on the demolition site of Innoventions West, suggesting that work could soon resume.

The building was scheduled to be demolished to make way for the Journey of Water and the park’s new Festival Center, as seen in the concept artt above. Last month, Disney confirmed that they were making changes to the plans for the Festival Center, possibly downsizing the scale of the project. When The EPCOT Experience reopened to guests back in July, a model of the multi-level structure of the center was removed from the seating area.
Other projects have been suspended for now, including the “Our Shared Story” refurbishment of Spaceship Earth and the Mary Poppins-themed Cherry Tree Lane expansion of the United Kingdom Pavilion. Meanwhile, new permits suggest that work is about to resume on “Project Gamma,” which includes the overhaul of Innoventions East, bringing a new counter-service restaurant and redesigned Mouse Gear to the park, as well as on barges for “Harmonious,” EPCOT’s upcoming nighttime spectacular.
Even with the re-imagining of EPCOT undergoing major changes, it doesn’t make sense to leave a half-demolished building up for the foreseeable future.
Hopefully demolition will continue soon.
While some parts of EPCOT’s re-imagining may be uncertain, the future still looks bright… even if it’s a little messy.

Disney could not stop this one, even with budget cuts. Does anyone think Disney would allow a half demolished building to stand around any longer than necessary? NOPE!
