PHOTOS: First Look at NEW Madame Leota Sipper Coming to the Magic Kingdom on September 8

Dear, sweet Leota. Beloved by all, in regions beyond now… but having a ball.

Today at the Magic Kingdom, we were lucky enough to catch a special photo shoot taking place for some of the new Fall foods coming to Walt Disney World starting on September 8 and running through Halloween. Best of all, we were able to get an up-close look at the NEW Madame Leota sipper coming to the park.

The photoshoot was taking place inside one of the hub gardens, with food modeling in full swing.

One of the chefs of the Magic Kingdom was seen arranging the Cinnamon Donuts coming to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Café, served in a Hitchhiking Ghost Novelty container from last year’s Halloween offerings.

To the right of the Hitchhiking Ghost, we have the Mickey Monster Mash Burger, which will be available at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café after making a comeback from Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party in 2018. The burger comes with Muenster cheese, potato barrels, bacon, and sriracha aïoli.

In the background, we have a Poor Unfortunate Souls Float, of which we have a review of from this year’s Disney Villains After Hours. And to the left is Madame Leota herself.

Yesterday’s press images only gave us a glimpse of the sipper, but here we can see how it’ll actually look when we all descend upon the Magic Kingdom on September 8.

The sipper features a grey pedestal base, with Leota’s swirling blue hair encased in the crystal (plastic) ball. At the top, there seems to be a lid with a latch for a straw.

Based off of the tiny green light coming from the base, it’s safe to assume the sipper will also light up.

No pricing is available on the sipper as of yet, but we do know that it will be available starting September 8 at Sleepy Hollow, so look alive… and keep an eye out for Madame Leota materializing soon at the Magic Kingdom.

In addition to specialty sippers, food, and merchandise, be on the lookout for a new Halloween cavalcade, the return of Fall decor, and a first-ever chance for guests to wear costumes outside of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween party at the Magic Kingdom starting September 15.

  1. Very interesting that the photoshoot would take place in the Park itself, as opposed to in a backstage area. I know there are plenty of spaces in the offices or off of the Utilidoor that would have the space to do this shoot, without prying Guest eyes. I’d love to know the reason. Even if they wanted the get the castle in the background, which is what it looks like they were trying to do, there are other ways to fool the eye and achieve the same thing.
Very interesting, and it makes me miss when I worked there.

  2. I love your sight💗💗 I’m on the West Coast so I can’t wait for Disneyland to open. I miss it so much. Keep up the great news, it makes me Disney 😉
