Select Walt Disney World In-Park Restaurants Still Accepting Reservations After Park Close Despite Reduced Hours Starting September 8

Beginning September 8, park hours are to be cut across all four Walt Disney World theme parks. However, it seems some dining locations may still be operational after the parks initially close.

In the Magic Kingdom, which will close at 6 PM starting in September, Be Our Guest Restaurant and Liberty Tree Tavern are both showing dining reservations available after park close.

The same is true over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, which will be closing at 7 PM, but ‘50s Prime Time Cafe, Oga’s Cantina, and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater all are showing reservations available until 8 PM.

At this time, it’s unknown whether reservation availability will change in the coming weeks to reflect shortened park hours or whether the restaurants will, in fact, remain open after park close to accommodate guests in light of the changes.

Guests with dining reservations affected by the newly-reduced park hours can modify or cancel their reservations without any fees, and will be contacted by Disney regarding the change in the coming weeks.

We’ll continue to update you on the status of ADRs in the parks as further information arises.

  1. Some are, some aren’t. Mine were cancelled by Disney. I had to go online and book an earlier time.

  2. Is there more info on this? I have dinner reservations this monday at Sci-fi Theater for 740(park closes at 7) and I am hoping since it has not been cancelled that it is still good?
