In preparation for Walt Disney World’s 50^th anniversary, the iconic Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza has been receiving a makeover with all-new colors.

The newest color update can be seen in the sign’s welcome letters. The “w” in welcome is now fully painted gold.

The left flag post of the plaza has also changed, with it now showcasing a gold colored flag instead of light blue.

This refurbishment is set to take eight weeks to give the toll plaza a whole new color scheme. Three lanes have been closed in order to accommodate the start of the project.

Since the beginning of the project, the left portion of the plaza’s roof and arch above the “w” in welcome have been painted a royal blue.
