BREAKING: Walt Disney World Increases Dining Reservation Capacity at All Table Service Restaurants, Tons of New Available Times Added Every Day

UPDATE: As of 9:20 AM today, dining reservations are temporarily unavailable. Expanded reservation availability was caused by a technical issue. Walt Disney World has released a statement clarifying that they have NOT increased capacity at their table service restaurants. For more details, click here.

Those of you looking to make dining reservations for an upcoming trip to Walt Disney World are in luck, because there are a slew of reservations now available at all table service restaurants, with tons of new available times added every day.

We went ahead and checked the My Disney Experience app to browse current selections, and found that there was way more day-of availability, even for hard-to-get reservations, like Oga’s Cantina.

We were even able to snag a coveted character breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey’s for the coming weeks:

Phase 3 technically allows theme parks in Florida to return to “normal operations with limited social distancing protocols”, meaning capacity is actively being raised within attractions and now, at table service restaurants. Walt Disney World has stated that capacity limits at the parks itself have not been raised.

Will you be booking a few Walt Disney World dining reservations with this new wave of availability? Let us know in the comments!

  1. As soon as I got this notification from my WDWNT app I immediately went to try and get some new reservations for my next trip later this month. For about 10 minutes I was able to see all of the exciting new times like the ones included in this article. But I don’t know if it is just me but my MyDisneyExperience is saying reservations are currently unavailable!

  2. As of 9:38 am ET, dining reservations on both the Disney World iPhone app, and the Disney World website, seem to be down.

  3. The parks are already over 25% capacity and now indoor restaurants will increase capacity. The ones we went to already seemed a little crowded and now they are throwing caution to the wind. With the virus number rising, it is obvious money is more important than safety. If the numbers continue, this will be short lived and they will have to scale back everything.

  4. Dining Reservations system has been down for hours. I talked to customer service and they don’t know when it will be back up.
