- We started our most recent photo report at Magic Kingdom before checking out some of the Festival of the Arts preparations underway at EPCOT, and we found lots of new things that we hope you enjoy
EPCOT

- We’ve seen some promising news for excited fans of the upcoming ‘Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind’ attraction as ride vehicles were making their way across property today, being delivered to EPCOT
- Package Pickup—which allows guests to have merchandise purchases sent to a convenient in-park location for pickup later—has been largely absent since Walt Disney World began its phased reopening in July but with the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts beginning today, Package Pickup has returned to EPCOT, with a caveat
- Voices of Liberty has returned to EPCOT for the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2021, performing “The Disney Songbook” on Fridays and Saturdays throughout the afternoon
- It appears that testing and programming of the movable arm aboard the ‘Harmonious’ show barge is continuing while it floats in World Showcase Lagoon, as we caught the arm extended earlier today
- The Figment’s Brush with the Masters scavenger hunt has returned to the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts for 2021, inviting guests to find that mischievous dragon Figment hiding in great works of art around World Showcase
The Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts began today, and with so many food studios to visit, we just couldn’t fit them all into one day so we will be rounding up all the food studio reviews together in tomorrow’s recap
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

- After our recent visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom we got a surprise in our inbox — a brand new Guest Satisfaction Survey that asks about the possibility of further limiting their offerings in the park
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Construction at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has reached a milestone today as the tarps that were protecting the glass roof below the roof crossbeams has been removed, allowing the skylight to once again show the sky
Other Walt Disney World News
- The NBA announced today that the NBA G League, the official minor league of the NBA, will be playing their 2021 season in a bubble environment at Walt Disney World beginning next month
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Amid the new State of Emergency declared in Tokyo and the surrounding area, the Oriental Land Company is taking a few drastic steps to help lower infections without closing Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, including further adjusting business hours and halting ticket sales, among other measures
New Merchandise

- With the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts beginning today, there’s plenty of new merchandise, including two new limited edition MagicBands, a bunch of new limited edition and limited release pins, and so much more that we decided to do a separate roundup of all the festival merch in one place
The Walt Disney Company

- For nearly a century, The Walt Disney Company has been primarily based in California but according to a new report from the Orlando Business Journal, things could be changing soon as the company is reportedly considering moving a number of its divisions to Lake Nona, Florida
