Hello from another chilly day here at Walt Disney World! We came to check out what might be new at two parks here, starting with EPCOT. Let’s get started!
Checking in on construction around the park, we found the roof of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has been completely covered in the blue moisture barrier which we first saw a few days ago. We’ll be keeping our eyes out for any movement toward solar panel installation next.
We found more screen testing on one of the Harmonious barges this morning in World Showcase Lagoon. We feel like we just won BINGO!
We also spotted these fireworks barges near the screens. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
Scrim walls have gone up around the grassy area in between The Land Pavilion and The Imagination Pavilion, most likely in preparation to build this year’s butterfly garden for the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2021. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
We found the second column base in the Italy Pavilion being painted this morning, but she had only just begun, and it was still noticeably a different color later in the day.
In the ongoing saga of “what is the soup being served in today” over at the POP Eats booth, we’ve moved on from paper cups to the plastic cans that the Bloody Mary comes in at the same booth. At least they’re themed!
We found hot mint tea being served at the Spice Road Table Beverages and Desserts walk-up window in the Morocco Pavilion. It was nice to see a warm beverages alternative to hot cocoa available around the park.
We found a new addition to the Marie “Dreaming of Paris” merchandise line in the France Pavilion. This youth shirt is available at L’Esprit de la Provence for $27.99.
We found two new MagicBands at Mouse Gear today. The first 2021 Passholder Exclusive MagicBand has arrived, and a new color of all-over glitter is here as well. We’re rooting for additional colors of glitter in the future! For more pictures and information on these MagicBands, check out our article here.
It was a cold and quiet day here at EPCOT, but we still had a great time. Next, we wanted to check out what might be new at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
We found several new treats available for Valentine’s Day, and we had fun sampling them all. The first was this delicious chocolate and strawberry ice cream sandwich. For more pictures and our full review, check out our article here.
We also found a new chocolate and cherry cupcake at Creature Comforts, decorated with a “wild” heart perfect for the holiday.
Also at Creature Comforts was this delicious strawberry and brownie dome cake. Out of the two, this was our favorite. You can check out our review for both the cupcake and the dome cake here.
Last but not least, we found this strawberry soft serve at the Anadapur Ice Cream Truck decorated for Valentine’s Day. We have to say, this one was not a win for us. For more details, check out our article here.
It was certainly an exciting day for MagicBand lovers as we found three more new ones at Discovery Trading Company, all Limited Release. You can check them all out here.
We had a wonderful time at both parks today, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
