The refurbishment of Walt Disney World’s Osceola Parkway entrance is pretty much complete, although some construction equipment remains.
The last section that remained to be painted was Goofy’s sign on the opposite side of the road from the archway.
Goofy looks complete though with his new royal blue background, grey columns, and gold trim.
Some construction vehicles and cones are still surrounding Goofy, so there may still be touch up work to be done.
New gold flags and “The Most Magical Place on Earth” banner have been placed on the archway.
Now only the World Drive and World Center Drive entrances still need to be reimagined in honor of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.
How do you feel about the new look? Let us know in the comments.
At least the new color scheme looks fantastic on the entrance signs… I’m still not sold on the choice of pink used on the castle. I do like the blues, greys and rose gold they went with on the rest of it, but that pink just doesn’t do it for me… It’s not a happy pink like Paris or Disneyland’s pink on their castles.
Hello
I prefer the banner that says “Where dreams come true”
Blue backgrounds are beautiful. But the earth is a bit cleaner than what they had before. For this very special anniversary, entire arch should be “over-decorated” almost. Lots of bling!
