Magic Kingdom
- With the ongoing refurbishment of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover track supports, the large fin-shaped accent pieces from the Tomorrowland 1994 update were removed from the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor façade and the supports covered in boxes
- The sign for Big Al’s is now missing from the merchandise kiosk in Magic Kingdom’s Frontierland
EPCOT
- “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure”, the new exhibit inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Soul that celebrates the history and culture of jazz as an African American art form, is now open in EPCOT
- We’re ending the weekend — and the month — here at the home of Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, and we have a full photo report to bring you along for the ride
- We stopped to check on the refurbishment and construction of EPCOT’s new World Celebration neighborhood which, once complete, will house Starbucks, Club Cool, a new quick-service restaurant, and the refurbished Mouse Gear
Disney Springs
- Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs has a spicy new special edition cookie only available for the month of February — the “Eternal Flame” cookie comes in mild and spicy versions
Disneyland Resort
- Star Wars Trading Post will open in its new location (replacing the Rainforest Cafe) on February 19th, and WonderGround Gallery also re-opens that day, now featuring a unique collection of housewares and fashion items at Downtown Disney District
- As the re-theming of Rainforest Café to Star Wars Trading Post continues at Downtown Disney District, even more props have been added to the building’s façade
- Starting February 5th, outdoor dining returns to Carthay Circle Lounge – Alfresco Dining on Buena Vista Street, plus Smokejumpers Grill and Award Wieners
- Disneyland Legacy Passholders will be among the first to access a retro “WandaVision”-inspired photo-op near the Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop on Buena Vista Street
Disneyland Paris
- While Disneyland Paris remains closed until at least April, Sleeping Beauty Castle (Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant) is undergoing refurbishment to prepare for the park’s 30th anniversary in 2022 and the castle can be seen covered in scaffolding in this internal video shared with Cast Members
- Both the Disneyland Paris Pride and Electroland events have been canceled for the summer of 2021
New Merchandise
- New Disney nuiMOs outfits are launching on the first Monday of every month and today’s release of the “Everyday Cosplay” collection is designed by Ashley Eckstein of Her Universe and artist Wes Jenkins
- A new style of Stitch ear hat with both Stitch’s ears and Mickey’s ears is now available at Walt Disney World
- Walt Disney World has some new colorful Cinderella Castle clothing now available at World of Disney in Disney Springs
- Two new limited release Valentine’s Day face masks are available for pre-order on shopDisney.com
- We shared some Beauty and the Beast home goods that we found the other day at the Downtown Disney District and today, we found even more items featuring characters from the film at the Disney Home store

- A patent application published January 14, 2021 details how Disney could use smartphones as a conduit to virtual puppeteering
Disney+
- The Walt Disney Company and Black Panther director and co-writer Ryan Coogler have made a five-year exclusive television deal, Deadline reports, and this will include a new drama based in Black Panther‘s Kingdom of Wakanda that is in development for Disney+
