Magic Kingdom
- We reported yesterday that the stage in front of Cinderella Castle was undergoing some kind of refurbishment and we stopped back by this morning to see that dams have started to go up on the west side of the Cinderella Castle moat
EPCOT
- It was reported early in the day that the EPCOT Monorail Line was prepping for a reopening with the refurbishment complete and Monorail testing going on, but later in the day sources indicated that Disney has changed direction and has decided not to reopen the EPCOT Monorail line for the foreseeable future
- Greetings, World Travelers, from another beautiful day here at EPCOT, where we came to check out what new things we could find at the park to bring you this most recent photo report
- We are closely monitoring the demolition of Innoventions West to make way for the Moana – Journey of Water attraction and a few days ago, some pieces of roof still remained, but as of today, even more has been removed
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- It’s Tough to Be a Bug, the attraction housed in the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom, will close for a short refurbishment beginning in March
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is officially opening on September 1, 2021, and reservations are now available
Other Walt Disney World News
- Guests can now book 2022 Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages, keeping in mind that not all resort hotels are scheduled for reopening yet, and that the Disney Dining Packages remain unavailable
- Previously, the Disney Park Pass availability calendar was then extended until January 2022, and now with 2022 resort and vacation bookings available, it seems Disney has updated the calendar to extend through January 2023
- With the release of next year’s packages and pricing, we can see that a Walt Disney World vacation in 2022 might be a bit more expensive than in 2021 as the average cost of a single-day ticket has gone up for 2022 dates
- In 2020, Florida tourism has fallen to its lowest number of visitors in ten years due to the COVID-19 pandemic with about 86.714 million tourists
- As of 2:00 PM today, February 16, both the Express Monorail and Resort Monorail lines at Magic Kingdom were down for over two hours
- From February 21 through February 24, 2021, Walt Disney World Annual Passholders are eligible to receive a 25% discount on select merchandise orders over $75.00 on both shopDisney.com and at Disney Stores nationwide
Disneyland Resort
- From Buena Vista Street and beyond, we can see into different lands of Disney California Adventure, including Cars Land, which now has health and safety reminder signs
- Starbucks at the Downtown Disney District has been closed since December 7th, 2020, but has officially reopened as of yesterday
- Now we have some idea what venues will be operating at the Disney California Adventure hard-ticketed event — it will focus on food and beverage offerings in six booths, as well as merchandise, and unique entertainment experiences across Cars Land, Pacific Wharf, Pixar Pier, and Grizzly Peak
New Merchandise
- Three limited-edition pins celebrating Roger Rabbit, Hades, and “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” have arrived at Walt Disney World
- AirPods users can now store their headphones in this Sleeping Beauty Castle charging case available at Downtown Disney District
- A new Stitch ear hat has arrived at Disneyland Resort and unlike previous Stitch ears, this hat includes both Stitch’s ears and Mickey’s ears
- A pair of ankle leggings and a matching blue sweatshirt were found at the World of Disney store today at the Downtown Disney District

- A new documentary series is in the works that will take a behind the scenes look into the Marvel Cinematic Universe — Marvel Studios’ ASSEMBLED will debut March 12 on Disney+
