Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- Mad Tea Party and Swiss Family Treehouse at Magic Kingdom will both be closed for refurbishments in the coming weeks
- The Huck Finn and Becky Thatcher rafts have returned to their dock on the Rivers of America at the Magic Kingdom
- According to the Walt Disney World website, the Liberty Square Riverboat in Magic Kingdom will be reopening Friday, February 5, after a lengthy refurbishment of the Rivers of America
- Tom Sawyer Island will also be reopening at Magic Kingdom on Friday, February 5
- Ever since Bonjour! Village Gifts at Magic Kingdom closed a few weeks ago for refurbishment, we’ve been keeping an eye on construction and as of today, most of the building has been repainted green
EPCOT
- According to an update from Walt Disney World, the Three Caballeros animatronics won’t be returning to Gran Fiesta Tour in EPCOT until the spring
- We took advantage of the cool, comfortable morning to check out what what was new at EPCOT and we found some things we’d like to show you in our newest photo report
- EPCOT construction rages on this week at Mouse Gear with the addition of new windows, making the store’s permanent location feel significantly closer to completion
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Though Primeval Whirl has been permanently closed for almost a year, the attraction has sat mostly untouched at Disney’s Animal Kingdom — until now, that is, as Walt Disney World has filed a permit for construction (and possibly demolition) at the Primeval Whirl address
Disney Springs
- We stopped by Marketplace Snacks at Disney Springs to try their new strawberry and chocolate Valentine’s Day Dole Whip, perfect for sharing with your sweetheart
- Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew had two new seasonal donuts debut today at Disney Springs — the first combining their Classic Chocolate Iced Donut with Girl Scouts Thin Mints, and the second a strawberry jelly donut
Disneyland Resort
- Thanks to the extension of the Buena Vista Street seating area, we got a good look at the entrance to the new attraction WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure and more of the Avengers Campus area at Disney California Adventure
Disneyland Paris
- Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Main Street U.S.A. gazebo at Disneyland Paris are undergoing a large-scale refurbishment while the park remains closed until April and both are currently surrounded with scaffolding and construction equipment as they are prepared for the park’s 30th anniversary next year
Disney Cruise Line
- Disney warns potential travelers on Disney Cruise Line ships that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 4 Travel Notice recommending that all people avoid travel on cruise ships, and if a threshold of COVID-19 is detected on board the cruise ship during a voyage, the voyage will be ended immediately and the ship will return to the U.S. port of embarkation, and your subsequent travel, including your return home, may be restricted or delayed
New Merchandise
- A few days ago, we found a mug inspired by the mountainous attractions of Disneyland and Walt Disney World in the Downtown Disney District, and now the mug is also available at Magic Kingdom, so East Coasters can brag about the mountains they’ve conquered
- The latest Disney Parks Wishables collection will be for “it’s a small world” and is coming to shopDisney tomorrow, as well as the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts
- February 4 marks the 55th anniversary of “Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree” so there are three new limited edition celebrating the short film, along with a limited edition Valentine’s Day pin and a new Visa Rewards pin, all available at Walt Disney World
- Walt Disney World’s Tiny Kingdom mystery pin boxes and corresponding Magic Kingdom canvas map were first introduced over two years ago, with new pin series coming out periodically, and now collectors can expand their pin displays with a new Tiny Kingdom map showcasing all the Walt Disney World theme parks and the first series of Walt Disney World tiny mystery pins in this second edition
- Disney fans now have the ultimate way to celebrate on their wedding day — a new collection of wedding merchandise has just walked down the aisle at Disneyland Resort
- Some of the above “Happily Ever After” wedding collection can also be found at Walt Disney World

- Disney + has released the mid-season trailer for its hit TV show “WandaVision,” showcasing clips from the second half of the season
