• Bonjour! Village Gifts has been closed for refurbishment for a few weeks now and recently, we noticed that the gift shop inside New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom has been receiving a questionable paint job
• We took advantage of the wonderful weather and headed to the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to check out what might be new, and bring you this most recent photo report

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• Grab a milkshake and come with us to check out our tour of a two-bedroom villa, part of the Disney Vacation Club offerings at Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Other Walt Disney World News

• Workers have been painting the Osceola Parkway entrance archway in preparation for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, and now the paint job is nearly complete

• The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch for the county in which Disney World and Universal Studios Florida reside from 5:00 PM EST until midnight

Disneyland Resort

• Disney California Adventure has been reopening dining locations since the lift of the California stay-at-home order, and today a plethora of snack carts opened to serve guests
• Just when we thought no more Star Wars could be thrown onto the old Rainforest Café building in Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort, more appears as we noticed that even more wires and plants have been added to the soon-to-be Star Wars Trading Post

Tokyo Disney Resort

• The State of Emergency has been extended in the Tokyo area for another month, which means the Tokyo Disney Resort is making another adjustment to its operations beginning February 13th, opening the park one hour later

New Merchandise

• Recently it was announced that a Haunted Mansion Golden Book would be released this summer and now, there’s one more Little Golden Book to be excited about — the Jungle Cruise
• We found two new pairs of Minnie Ear Headbands today at the Magic Kingdom that are sure to complement any outfit you have planned for Spring
• On a trip to Walt Disney World, we found an adorable new Up tumbler that we recognize from the Disneyland Resort, and are excited to see it now available in Florida as well
• If Spirit Jerseys aren’t your style, perhaps these new Walt Disney World baseball jerseys, paying homage to the resort’s 1971 opening, will be just the ticket
• Walt Disney World has new character and park-themed housewares, perfect for anyone looking to spruce up their kitchen or carry Disney with them on the go

Entertainment and Media

• The Kansas City Health Department has requested that Disney on Ice cancel its remaining performances at the T-Mobile Center after revocation of the production’s permit to perform for spectators due to “multiple and repeated violations” of the agreed upon COVID-19 mitigation plan, leading to a COVID-19 outbreak amongst its staff
