PHOTOS: Even More Decorative Bunting Added to Both Sides of Cinderella Castle for 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort

The countdown to the “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” has begun and more decorations are popping up on Cinderella Castle every day. The first piece of decoration was put in place last week, and since then turret bunting and additional bunting swags have been added.

The west side of Cinderella Castle is now adorned with a turret bunting and two pieces of faux swag bunting as well.

The new pieces of decor are the same as the original piece that was added last week.

The decor is bright gold with iridescent blue shadowing, adding to Cinderella Castle’s “earidescent” transformation. The color scheme will tie in with the new paint scheme added across the Walt Disney World Resort, such as the new entranceways.

The bunting includes a bright blue gem and is held by numerical icons to celebrate the 50th Anniversary.

The west side of Cinderella Castle has the same decorations, although we expect more to show up any day.

Once finished, Cinderella Castle will resemble the concept art below. Once painting and the blue bunting installation is complete, the top of the turrets will receive ornate gold decorations as well.
