Walt Disney World Announces Magic Kingdom Enhancements Ahead of 50th Anniversary, “The World’s Most Magical Celebration”

Today, the Disney Parks Blog teased a series of ongoing Magic Kingdom enhancements in time for the park’s monumental 50th anniversary celebration beginning October 1st, 2021. By the time “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” begins, many existing park offerings will have a new sparkle.

Whether it be a freshly painted castle turret being adorned with 50th anniversary décor, or shimmering gold leaf being added to your favorite Fantasyland attractions, our cast members are hard at work making Magic Kingdom Park shine like never before. Be sure to keep an eye out for these enhancements and more in the coming months!

  1. Here’s an idea: REHIRE the 30,000+ employees who made the magic for DECADES.
Why should guests pay full price for a less than magical experience?
Let’s start with entertainment which has been decimated.

  2. Don’t bother wasting your hard earned money Disney is not worth the money attractions are closed food and drinks. Very hard to get much aggravation from employee’s that doesn’t want to be there florida covid-19 and varraents very high full of spring breakers not wearing masks and they are not giving price breaks for most attractions and food closures

    • I was in The Magic Kingdom today and all the cast members were upbeat, we made sure we thanked everyone we came in contact with. I will say it’s not worth the money now. My fear is what will Disney keep from covid cutbacks.

  3. This is what I have been waiting for no more generic ketchup packets, Disney will start raining down Fancy Ketchup packets from the sky. Fancy Ketchup for everyone!!
