Magic Kingdom
- Cinderella Castle is being prepared for Magic Kingdom’s 50th anniversary in which the moat was recently drained and the stage floor has been removed, and now the castle and moat are being cleaned before decorating begins
- We welcome you to another day at the very magical Magic Kingdom where the weather was perfect, the lines were short (in the morning, that is), and there was a blue macaron — and so much more — so come along with us to see all there is in this photo report
EPCOT
- Greetings from EPCOT on the final day of February, as we usher out the month, the previous festival, and apparently wintertime as a whole, so come with us as we bid goodbye to a month and welcome a new one in this most recent photo report
- We have been keeping a close eye on the demolition of Innoventions West at EPCOT and we’ve recently seen that the structural supports are being removed slowly but surely, but today’s update has made quite a dent in the demolition progress
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- A brand new park map debuted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park, featuring two young child amputees as part of Disney’s ongoing initiative for more inclusion
Disney Springs
- Each month, Gideon’s Bakehouse in Disney Springs has a different limited edition cookie and for March, guests can pick up a delicious peanut butter chocolate swirl cookie
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- We reported last month that the monorail station in front of the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort was making some great progress, and we are back with another update to see the metal platforms that are being installed
Other Walt Disney World News
- We reported last week that a brand new face mask policy was in place at Walt Disney World stating that guests over 2 years of age must be wearing a face covering while “standing, waiting or sitting in dining locations” and at all times unless they are “actively eating or drinking,” but a multitude of guests (including ourselves) have reported that the policy is not being enforced at many locations
Disneyland Resort
- We now have a complete guide to all of the food that will be available at A Touch of Disney, the ticketed event coming to Disney California Adventure on March 18
- March has arrived, which means springtime and Easter are just around the corner and luckily, the Easter Bunny has left us a few early sweet treats at the Disneyland Resort
- Morgan Lee Richardson, a former Walt Disney Imagineer, shared a look at some details of a new event space at Disney California Adventure — Buena Vista Winery
Tokyo Disney Resort
- One year and a day ago, Fantasmic! came to a slightly premature end at Tokyo DisneySea as a result of the Tokyo Disney Resort’s extended COVID-19 closure and now it seems we may have an idea of where the future lies for the Fantasmic! show barges — at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris
- Cast Members at Disneyland Paris Resort are taking advantage of the parks’ extended closure by working on routine refurbishments during the day and in a new series of videos, these Cast Members take us through the different projects they are currently working on throughout both Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney Studios Park
Adventures by Disney
- In January, Adventures by Disney announced new Expedition Cruises to Antarctica and the Galapagos Islands departing in 2022 and due to popular demand, Adventures by Disney has added a third Antarctica sailing departing February 20, 2022
New Merchandise
- We got a sneak peek of the brand new Kermit and Miss Piggy nuiMOs plushes last week, and today we are happy to report that the newest members of the nuiMOs family are available for purchase at Walt Disney World and on shopDisney
- This Wishables Wednesday, Peter Pan’s Flight will be soaring into Disney Parks and shopDisney as the latest series of collectible plushes
- The February edition of the monthly Stitch Crashes Disney collection is inspired by Lady & the Tramp and it leaves Stitch covered in spaghetti and meatballs, and it has finally arrived at Walt Disney World just a little bit late
- A brand new version of the Chip teacup mug from Beauty and the Beast hops into Walt Disney World today and where previously, the mug had a similar design but was slightly smaller and more simple, the new design includes a larger handle and a more unique shape
- Several new pins have arrived at the Disneyland Resort — three new Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree pins were released for the 55th anniversary of the film, and another addition to both the Magic In The Stars series and the Disney Dreams Destination series have also been released
Entertainment and Media
Disney+
- Bob Chapek discussed Disney+ during the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecommunications Conference on Monday, which took up most of the Q&A session and during that time, he revealed some insights the company learned in over a year of operation
