Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Spring has sprung across the Walt Disney World Resort and to celebrate, festive treats are popping up all over the place, like this adorable Thumper Spring cupcake we found at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Disney Springs
- Today marks the premiere of “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” Marvel’s newest Disney+ original series, and to celebrate, a new cake inspired by the series is now available at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs
Other Walt Disney World News
- Easter is Sunday, April 4 this year, and Walt Disney World has plenty of themed treats for guests to enjoy for the next few weeks, so we’ve rounded up a full list of all the Easter treats coming to the hotels and parks of Walt Disney World
- Walt Disney World has extended hours at all four theme parks for the first week of April
- The Biden administration is hoping to relax travel restrictions across the Mexico and Canada borders and on inbound international travel from the U.K., Europe, and Brazil in mid-May, according to CNBC’s anonymous sources
- Both the Express Monorail and Resort Monorail lines are down at Walt Disney World due to “undisclosed beam maintenance”
Disneyland Resort
- Guests attending the “A Touch of Disney” ticketed event have more than just food, shopping, and games in which to partake — some of our favorite Disney characters were interacting with the crowd at Disney California Adventure, from a distance, of course

Tokyo Disney Resort
- The State of Emergency, ongoing in the Tokyo area since January 7th, is finally being lifted on March 21st and with that, Chiba Prefecture (home to the Tokyo Disney Resort) has released new guidelines indicating how theme parks in the prefecture (namely Tokyo Disney Resort) will be allowed to operate in the coming weeks
Shanghai Disney Resort
- Shanghai Disney Resort has announced the “Year of Magical Surprises” to celebrate its 5th birthday, having first opened on June 16, 2016, and the celebration kicks off April 8, 2021, full of special experiences, exclusive merchandise, and delicious treats
New Merchandise
- A brand new Funko Pop! Vinyl Figure is coming to Amazon, and fans of the Jungle Cruise attraction will love this addition to the Ride Vehicles collection — the Funko Pop! Jungle Cruise Skipper Mickey with Boat figure is scheduled to be released on June 27, but pre-orders are available now
- While Expedition Everest’s 15th anniversary draws near, we are finding more and more merchandise inspired by the attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- A brand new Dooney & Bourke collection debuts March 22 at Walt Disney World, featuring the beloved Disney Sidekicks on an array of bags and even a MagicBand
- This trio of Easter eggs, commemorating the 55th Anniversary of the Disneyland attraction, “it’s a small world,” have somehow made their way to Walt Disney World
- Two new unique glow cubes are debuting at Disney California Adventure for “A Touch of Disney” — red and green grape-bunch-shaped glow cubes featuring hidden Mickeys
- Take your lunch on the go with this new Kingdom of Cute lunch box covered in Disney Parks icons, now available at Walt Disney World
