The “Harmonious” screens barged their way onto the World Showcase Lagoon in early April and have begun screen testing to prepare for a hopeful show opening later this year. Each barge and screen is big enough to be seen from multiple angles around the World Showcase Lagoon in EPCOT.

As you can see here, each “taco” barge is equipped with surfaces that house many pixels to make up one screen. It seems some pixels may not be completely working, which is why this testing is happening during park hours is important.

The “Harmonious” barges will operate as fountains during the daytime and work as screens for the new nighttime show.

At night, this show will provide a tapestry of global connection, with these screens, fireworks, and fountains, tying into the message of the World Showcase at EPCOT.

What do you think about these barges?

  1. Excited to see the work continuing, Looking forward to shows again and who doesn’t like a water feature… Even if it fills up the entire lagoon.
