Magic Kingdom

- Three of the most popular Magic Kingdom snack spots have finally added Mobile Order through the My Disney Experience app – Sunshine Tree Terrace, Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, and The Friar’s Nook
- Refurbishments have begun at The Barnstormer at Fantasyland as part of the ongoing preparations for the 50th anniversary of the Magic Kingdom
- American Idol‘s traditional “Disney Night” will be airing on Sunday, May 2nd, and this year, they’re filming at Walt Disney World
- Projects in progress can be found all around the park as we approach the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort and we recently found a new refreshment project starting on the planter near Pirates of the Caribbean
EPCOT
- We’ll be starting our day at EPCOT and later moving on to Disney’s Animal Kingdom as we find new characters, new barges, a new drink, and more to bring you in this most recent photo report
- A Dapper Day pop-up shop has popped up in EPCOT to prepare guests for the 2021 event which is next weekend (April 24 + 25, 2021)
Disney Springs

- Drawn to Life, the new show expected to replace La Nouba in Disney Springs, was notably absent from the list of shows announced today by Cirque du Soleil to be returning to the stage but thankfully, Cirque du Soleil CEO, Daniel Lamarre, gave an idea of the opening date in an interview with the Los Angeles Times
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Over at Disney’s Boardwalk, you can now get dishes from Trattoria Al Forno to go
- It’s a beautiful sunny day in Orlando, and we took a stroll at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to bring you another construction update
Other Walt Disney World News

- Another COVID-19 safety procedure has been updated – Disney changed their website to reflect the new protocol, allowing guests to use self-service stations to fill their refillable mugs and beverages
- We also brought you a step-by-step guide to the new process for filling your own beverages under the new guidelines
- At today’s Greater Orlando Airport Aviation (GOAA) meeting, a floor map schematic revealed the new offerings coming to MCO’s Terminal C including a new Walt Disney World store, Universal Studios Store, and a Wine Bar George location
- While other areas of the parks and resorts are being updated for the “Worlds Most Magical Celebration”, so have the road entrances to Walt Disney World and new work has begun on the EPCOT/World Center Drive arch now
Disneyland Resort

- Imagineering was recently conducting a playtest of a potential new experience: a meet-and-greet with a “lifesize” tiny Tinker Bell at A Touch of Disney event
- Today, Disneyland officials may have confirmed that guests will not be able to visit from out of state for the re-opening of Disneyland’s theme parks
- Despite that, a spokesperson for the California Department of Public Health has confirmed to InPark Magazine that “fully vaccinated people from out of state are now permitted to participate in activities restricted to in-state visitors”
Disneyland Paris
- Starting April 24, Disneyland Paris will provide the convention center at Disney’s Newport Bay Club to serve as one of the mass vaccination centers in the country for local authorities to distribute COVID-19 vaccines to the local community
New Merchandise

- The finale of Marvel’s latest Disney+ hit, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, premieres this Friday the 23rd, but you can now drop into The Emporium at the Magic Kingdom to show your support with a limited-edition MagicBand featuring the dynamic duo
- Let your imagination grow with this new Figment MagicBand that has arrived for the Taste of the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival
- Each month, Disney Parks releases a new Wishables collection of micro plush inspired by fan-favorite attractions on “Wishables Wednesday” and we now have a preview for an upcoming collection inspired by Cars Land at Disney California Adventure that will be releasing in June
- If you love matching outfits or you want your shoes to “float like a Cadillac and sting like a Beemer,” you won’t want to miss out on the latest style in a collaboration between Crocs and Disney: Cars Lightning McQueen Crocs for adults
- A new pair of Disney Parks lounge pants is now available in World of Disney at Downtown Disney District, perfect for anyone wanting to feel cozy at home or at the parks
- The latest collection to hit Disney Parks is the fun “Play in the Park” line of merchandise and after we recently found a “Play in the Park” Dress Shop dress, now we’ve spotted a new mug designed for the whimsical collection
Entertainment and Media
- Yesterday, Trans March posted that Pixar Animation Studios sent them a flyer of an audition opportunity for actors 12-17 years old to voice a transgender teen
- A new film detailing the life and achievements of Jim Henson is in the works at Disney, with the plot expected to revolve around Henson and his effort to get his Muppets on television
Disney+

- Disney and Sony have reached an agreement on bringing Spider-Man and other blockbuster Sony franchises to Disney Plus
- A new Disney Pixar short entitled “22 vs. Earth” will be premiering on Disney+on April 30th
