It’s been a while since we checked in on construction in the center of EPCOT, which will soon be known as the World Celebration neighborhood. What was previously Innoventions East, Electric Umbrella, and MouseGear will eventually be Creations Shop, Club Cool, a Starbucks location plus bakery, and an unnamed quick-service restaurant.

Scaffolding fills the breezeway that will between Club Cool/Creations Shop and the restaurants as a lower ceiling is constructed.

Tarp blocks the view of the upper section of the space.

Entrances have appeared across the Creations Shop building as windows have been installed. Wood currently makes up this door frame, while a metal frame for an awning surrounds it.

Crew members have been working on the roof overhang quite a bit, which may account for this otherwise abandoned scaffolding. Windows are also largely blocked with tarp and wood.

Some paneling from the roof overhang has been removed.

Here, much of the overhang has marks on it.

We can also see some three-dimensional T-shaped structures on the wall that is not covered with windows.

The rounded Communicore corner remains exposed at one end of the building.

The center of the building (breezeway) is completely covered in scaffolding, and a large portion of overhang is gone.

Vertical steel poles descend from the roof into the scaffolding.
