Although construction of TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom is significantly delayed, work continues on the exterior canopy. The final temporary supports from beneath the canopy have been removed, giving us a clearer look at the structure.
The reddish-brown supports surrounded the coaster track and kept the canopy in place while the framework was completely installed over the past many months.
The final supports were beneath the section of canopy right in front of the show building, but are now gone.
There were plenty of crew members in cherry-pickers today, likely working on the electrical wiring for the canopy’s future lighting.
The coaster will rocket out of the show building, beneath the entrance, before going up, turning a corner, and returning to “The Grid.”
