In the wake of the announcement that Disney will be reducing physical distancing, another attraction has changed operations. Splash Mountain has reduced on-ride physical distancing and now allows multiple parties to be seated in each log with only one empty row between them.

Previously, Cast Members were only loading one party per log if the party exceeded two guests. Now, the ride has increased capacity with multiple parties seated together as long as one empty row separates them.

Distancing measures are being gradually changed around the parks, from attractions to shows. Additionally, Walt Disney World changed its face mask policy this weekend, and guests are no longer required to wear masks outdoors.

  1. Wonderful news!! Now please Save Splash Mountain!! It should stay as it is to be cherished and appreciated!! When Disney has the funds, please expand the park to add Tiana’s restaurant and character meet-and-greet!!
