A major power outage has hit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, causing most attractions to shut down for the second time in a week.

According to My Disney Experience, only Triceratop Spin and Avatar Flight of Passage are currently available, which is fewer than were available during the power outage five days ago. Once power is restored, it will take some time to bring the rides back online.

more likely disney slackers. Place is becoming an actual “laugh(able) place” and I’m saying this as a long time DVC owner and passholder and came to disney many times as a kid before that.

It was a couple of hours and affected Dinosaur, Everest, Kali, and Tough to Be a Bug. Kali experienced another power issue with about an hour til close and did not reopen.

I hope this isn’t a sign of scrimping.

Repeat power outages, repeat Skyliner crashes, and excessive wait times to speak with reservation cast members don’t paint a Disney’esque magical picture.

They have had contractors working on the power station in sherberth road next to animal kingdom lodge for the last week. About 5 trucks parked there the last few days. Working outside. I’m sure it has todo with that.
