When Trail’s End Restaurant reopened at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort earlier this year, its popular fried chicken had been removed from the menu. Well, fried chicken is back, but still isn’t on the menu.
Guests can simply request the fried chicken with their waiter and it will be added to the family-style smokehouse skillet.

We asked the first night.
Now I want fried chicken for dinner! Yum!
We were there 3 weeks ago and asked for the fried chicken and got it. I only knew about it because I saw a video from early July from a Disney vlogger I follow who also asked for and got the fried chicken.
Wasn’t great, but we enjoyed it.
I can’t understand why they would mess with the menu at all! … the salad bar (with the shrimp), the chicken, ribs…. it’s what makes that place so awesome. It’s our favorite place to go. And is so fitting for the entire Ft. Wilderness site!
