The reimagining of The Wave… of American Flavors has been well underway at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and today, we’ve spotted the latest sign (or lack thereof) of progress.

The signage for the restaurant has been removed from the entrance, obstructed from view by a black curtain behind construction walls.

You can see the facade of The Wave has been completely stripped.

It has yet to be announced if this removal is preceding a name change for the restaurant. It’s been rumored that this redesign could transform the restaurant into a steakhouse, though nothing has been confirmed yet.

Signage in front of the wall reminds guests that The Wave’s breakfast is currently being served at California Grill from 7:30 to 11:00 AM.

With the addition of construction walls to conceal work from the public, it seems the sign prohibiting photography, video recording and live streaming has also been removed. No official reopening date for The Wave… of American Flavors has been announced yet.
