Though exact details have not been announced, Disney has confirmed that The Wave… of American Flavors in Disney’s Contemporary Resort will receive a “reimagined dining experience.”
This comes alongside the first look inside Disneys Contemporary Resort’s new Incredibles-themed rooms. In 2019, we first heard rumors about The Wave becoming an Incredibles-themed steakhouse, so this idea may now be coming to fruition.
The Wave… of American Flavors and The Wave Lounge will be closing in mid-July for the refurbishment. An exact timeline for the refurb is unknown but Disney Parks Blog stated it would be ready in time for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration, which begins October 1 and lasts for 18 months.
