Hello from Main Street, U.S.A. Today we’re making our way through the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios; let’s get started!
Starting our day at the Transportation and Ticket Center, new video signage at each of the ticket booths lets guests know that passes are available once again for all guests!
Cheerful new “Passholder Entrance” signs above and in front of the tapstiles welcome new and returning passholders.
Walls came down at the Main Street Confectionery, and we hope for its full return before the 50th anniversary on October 1.
A dashing new “it’s a small world” Dress Shop dress twirled into Uptown Jewelers.
A new Dooney & Bourke “Paw Pals” collection arrived at Uptown Jewelers as well.
Rock benches in Adventureland continue to receive a fresh coat of paint, as you can see on the top part of the seating area.
Another section of pavement in front of the Adventureland restrooms has been repaved and painted.
Jungle green pavement grows wild as more is replaced in front of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.
Construction continues around Country Bear Jamboree as its boardwalk plank replacement nears completion.
Scoring makes way down the pebbled pathway behind Liberty Square Market.
Two new Her Universe “The Haunted Mansion” shirts arrived at Memento Mori.
Under the Sea: Journey of The Little Mermaid received Lightning Lane signage.
Refurbishment continues as the final yellow tent at Storybook Circus is lined for paint.
Roof painting at Mad Tea Party is underway as its panels receive fresh coats of blue paint.
The Commemorative Bricks & Ornaments station in the shop was out of service due to stock concerns for the bricks.
50th anniversary filming on the hub grass was a point of interest as Josh D’Amaro made an appearance.
The Silhouettes Cart that can also be found in Liberty Square has returned to the streets of Main Street, U.S.A., next to Crystal Arts.
Making our way over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, new golden 50th anniversary banners stand bright at the entrance to the parking booths and in front of security near the gate.
Although we arrived well after 2 p.m. to park hop, boarding groups for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance were still available once inside.
New Lightning Lane and Virtual signage arrived at the attraction.
Slinky Dog Dash in Toy Story Land also received a new Lightning Lane.
Inside “Walt Disney Presents: One Man’s Dream,” the entrance to the Monsters, Inc. meet and greet area is open, and guests are made aware that Mike and Sully are not present. It still is cool to walk through, though, if you can.
