Magic Kingdom
- Mickey Mouse is now the first character to return to his dedicated indoor meet-and-greet location for a character “sighting.”
- Guests can now visit four princesses at Princess Fairytale Hall in Magic Kingdom.
- Magic Kingdom will be testing some fireworks between 11:00 p.m. and midnight tonight, October 28, 2021.
- A guest jumped into the ride water today from the queue of “it’s a small world” at the Magic Kingdom to retrieve a lost cellphone.
- While we don’t know when TRON Lightcycle / Run will finally open at the Magic Kingdom, it may not be too long before it lights up the park skyline.
- Good morning from a cool day at Magic Kingdom! The weather is getting us in the spirit for Halloween just a few days away, so let’s get started in the latest photo report.
EPCOT
- We noticed the Mulan “sighting” in the China Pavilion at EPCOT has been updated with new distancing rules.
- Test Track closed earlier than the rest of EPCOT today.
- Before heading to EPCOT, we stopped at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to try the 50th anniversary Walt’s Wonderful World of Roast Beef Hash. Join us in the latest photo report!
- WDWNT’s own Eric Morton wanted to put this Genie to the test and see if the suggestions really did maximize what guests can do while minimizing wait times. He already tried out the service at Magic Kingdom, now let’s see what it leads him to at EPCOT.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Just a few weeks after Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside reopened, the French Quarter half of the resort has returned to regular operations.

- After many pre-sale windows and the first sailing selling out, general bookings are now open for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the new “Star Wars” hotel opening next year at Walt Disney World.
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Although a bit later than the 2021 window previously promised, the Toy Story Hotel at Tokyo Disney Resort will officially open on April 5, 2022!
- Believe! Sea of Dreams will debut sometime between April 2022 and March 2023.
New Merchandise
- Now, you can play your next round in a new Nike Golf Dri-Fit polo with a Mickey logo.
- In addition to a 50th anniversary tiara and more special items, the Arribas Brothers location in Magic Kingdom has a new Cinderella Castle trinket box.
- Another new vintage-style ceramic Starbucks tumbler has arrived at Disneyland Resort.
- The winter holidays are almost upon us, and Disneyland Resort is ready with new items for the “Walt’s Holiday Lodge” collection.
- We found a Darkwing Duck shirt at Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure.
- Like death, taxes, and Thanos, new “Star Wars” merchandise coming to the Disneyland Resort seems to be eternally inevitable.
- New “Star Wars” apparel for adults and kids has arrived at Droid Depot and First Order Cargo in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland.
- Two new phone case wallets have arrived at Walt Disney World, one inspired by “The Mandalorian” and the other featuring Mickey Mouse.

- Marvel Studios has released another new trailer for “Hawkeye,” the next Marvel series coming to Disney+.
- Lisette Alexis (“Total Eclipse”) has been cast as the star of the upcoming “National Treasure” series to air on Disney+.
