Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- Many new food items have been making their debut at Walt Disney World as part of the 50th anniversary, including the new Pineapple-Coconut Glazed Popcorn we found in Adventureland.
- Storybook Treats in Magic Kingdom is celebrating the 50th anniversary with two new ice cream treats inspired by “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”
- Though it will be a long time before we get to ride TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom, construction progress is still being made every day.
EPCOT
- Landscaping is underway outside Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT, which is officially set to open next year in the newly renamed Wonders of Xandar pavilion.
- Though the Souk-Al-Magreb gift shop reopened in December, it has closed again apparently for an interior refurbishment.
- Happy Tuesday from Walt Disney World Resort. It was a bright and sunny day, so we took to the parks in a new photo report.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Jambo from Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Join us today as we celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary at this beautiful park in a photo report.
Other Walt Disney World News
- Reservations for Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will cost Disney Vacation Club Members at least 295 points.
- Earlier this week, select guests were able to begin booking “departures” on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser and now, the maiden voyage of the Halcyon is officially sold out.
Disneyland Resort
- Disneyland Resort president, Ken Potrock, introduced the next Disneyland Resort Ambassador team this morning: Mark Everett King Jr. and Nataly Guzman.
- With “Muppets Haunted Mansion” arriving on Disney+ this Friday, even more props have been added to the photo ops at the Downtown Disney District, making them a fun, Muppetational experience!
Tokyo Disney Resort
- Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast and The Happy Ride with Baymax will finally move to the Standby Pass system starting October 19.
- This week, a new warming pillow will debut just in time for winter shaped just like Baymax’s lead vehicle aboard the new attraction!
- While Tokyo Disney Resort is not holding a full-scale “Disney Christmas” event this year, they will deck the halls of the two parks this year along with presenting two new sets of greetings, along with returning food and merchandise!
- Two scheduled greetings at both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea will be suspended from November 8 until further notice.
Disneyland Paris
- Disneyland Paris has lowered the prices of Disney Premier Access, its paid FastPass service that launched in August.
Disney Cruise Line
- Two new experiences for kids will debut in Disney’s Oceaneer Club aboard Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Wish when it sets sail next June: Star Wars: Cargo Bay and Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck.
New Merchandise
- Marvel’s “Eternals” is still a month from theaters, but you can get your limited edition “Eternals” MagicBand now.
- If you’re a Disney Vacation Club member, the Disney Parks can feel like a second home and now, you can show off your bond with this new limited release MagicBand.
- In Creations Shop at EPCOT, we found a new plush Chef Remy keychain.
- Walt Disney World has a brand new Spirit Jersey just for lovers of Disney Parks’ popcorn and popcorn buckets.
- Sobel Westex will be releasing new home collections inspired by various Disney Resorts in 2022.
- A new 50th anniversary backpack perfect for carrying all of your other 50th anniversary souvenirs has joined the Celebration Collection at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom.
- A new limited release MagicBand exclusive to Walt Disney World Annual Passholders is now available.
- Just in time for Halloween, the new Mickey Mummy popcorn bucket arrived at Disney Springs.
- Another 50th anniversary Mickey balloon has arrived at Disney Springs, this time in EARidescent blue.
- You can get even more 50th anniversary collectible coins at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
- Two new blends have joined the new set of Wonderland Tea available at Disneyland Resort.
- Today at Disneyland Resort, we spotted two new beautiful tumblers that are just practically perfect in every way.
- We’ve recently seen a host of new fall apparel arrive at Walt Disney World, and today a new Mickey Mouse long-sleeve shirt made its debut.
- A new Vera Bradley collection was just released called “The Celebration Collection,” available exclusively at the Vera Bradley store at Disney Springs.
Entertainment and Media
Disney+
- Kathryn Hahn is returning to her role as Agatha Harkness as Variety reports that Disney+ is developing a spinoff of the popular Marvel Studio’s series ‘WandaVision.’
