To say that some of the areas around Walt Disney World need to be updated or cleaned is an understatement, particularly judging by the string of cleanliness issues we noticed at the end of last year. Now after a recent carpet replacement in Uptown Jewelers, it seems the next location to get some love on Main Street, U.S.A. is the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor!
Bright and sunny are the words that come to mind looking at the fresh new upholstery on the chairs on the outdoor patio .
The chairs are the same design and color as before — yellow — but some of the worn seats have been replaced with new upholstery.
A closer comparison of the chairs shows how dirty and scuffed the old upholstery was on the left compared to the fresh look of the chair on the right.
A fresh new update for the New Year is exactly what these chairs needed.
We have been reporting on areas around Walt Disney World that are in need of some attention, such as the “its a small world” boats and monorails. Seeing the positive changes since, like the boats being cleaned and cleanup underway on Space Mountain, we hopefully can look forward to more positive updates around here. WDWNT, thank you for these reports and please keep calling out cleanliness issues at the parks. That’s the only way Disney will take notice and potentially make changes. I was taken back on how dirty rides and attractions were during our Nov 2022 trip, most in MK.
I hope the friendship boats at epcot are next – they’re looking really dingy
