Scareactors Wanted: Universal Orlando Resort Now Accepting Internal Auditions for Halloween Horror Nights 32

Halloween Horror Nights 32 is five months away and Universal Orlando Resort is already gearing up. An email has gone out to current team members inviting those interested in serving as scareactors, stilt walkers, and puppeteers to submit an audition video.

The audition notice reads, “Now accepting Team Member submissions for Haunted House and Street Performers to perform as Scareactors, Stilt Walkers, and Puppeteers for Halloween Horror Nights!” Video submissions from existing team members are due by midnight on April 16.

HHN32 announcement

The notice calls for experienced Puppeteers, Bigfoot and Hybrid Stilt Walkers, and Scareactors of all varieties and sizes. To be considered for one of the open HHN32 positions, candidates must submit a resume, headshot, full-length photo, and a video detailing their current role and experience.

All candidates must be at least 18 years of age and able to provide proof of eligibility to work within the United States. Current Universal Orlando Team Members must have a minimum of 8 attendance credits and have completed 6 months of service in their current role. Internal transfer guidelines will be verified as part of the selection process. If selected, your current management will be contacted to verify eligibility.

While this audition notice is strictly for existing team members, Universal Studios is expected to put out a similar call for scareactors open to the general public soon.

Halloween Horror Nights 32

Halloween Horror Nights 32 will take place at Universal Studios Florida this year from September 1 through October 31. Tickets are on sale now on the Universal Orlando Resort website here.

  • Express Passes are available starting at $109.99 per person, with variable date-based pricing.
  • The RIP Tour returns, with prices starting at $299.99.
  • Unmasking the Horror Tours also return, starting at $119.99 for the 3-house tour and $169.99 for the 6-house tour.

Universal Orlando Resort shared a teaser video and announced the number of haunted houses in March. The video flashes through a number of symbols before stating, “The Legend is Real.” In their Tweet, Universal confirmed that there will be 10 haunted houses, 5 scare zones, and an unspecified amount of live entertainment.  “See You in the Fog” merch was already released at the park.

At this time, only one house announcement has been made, for a Chucky house, but you can always check out the latest speculation map for other possible houses. More announcements will continue to be made over the next few months leading up to the start of the event, so make sure you stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for more updates. We’ll see you in the fog!
