Onboard photos at Space Mountain have been updated with a new style at Magic Kingdom.
New Onboard Photo Design Aboard Space Mountain
The old style is pictured in the sample above, while Twitter user Brooke Geiger McDonald shared a look at this new graphic design below, which can now be accessed by any guest with Disney PhotoPass.
Disney PhotoPass is an add-on that allows guests the ability to download photos from rides and at special locations throughout the park taken by a PhotoPass Cast Member. They can be linked to your Disney account, via the My Disney Experience app, MagicBands, park tickets, or a PhotoPass card.
In other Space Mountain news around the world, Tokyo Disneyland will be receiving a new version in 2027, as Walt Disney Imagineering has teased a new story that will tie in with the S.E.A. story from Tokyo DisneySea.
At Disneyland, the blue light tunnel effect is almost completely burnt out after transition back to its normal themes from the Hyperspace Mountain Star Wars overlay.
Back at Magic Kingdom, guests can now express their love of Space Mountain through their attire, with a new “Starry-O-Phonic Sound” shirt. This is located at Tomorrowland Launch Depot, the recently overhauled gift shop that now additionally contains merchandise for TRON Lightcycle / Run and the TRON Identity Program, in which “Users” get to create their own custom action figure with a personalized face and phrases.
