A new Grogu MagicBand+ is available at Walt Disney World Resort. Grogu, a.k.a. “Baby Yoda” or “The Child,” debuted in “The Mandalorian” on Disney+ in 2019, instantly becoming a favorite “Star Wars” character. The new Grogu MagicBand+ is available at Frontier Trading Post in Magic Kingdom.
‘The Mandalorian’ Grogu MagicBand+ – $44.99
The Grogu MagicBand+ has a white base with a light blue center puck.
The puck features the “Star Wars” logo in white and three frogs — Grogu’s favorite snack.
More frogs are across the rest of the band. Blue waves in the background make it look like the frogs are swimming in water.
On the other end, Grogu is pictured sitting on a rock. He wears his standard brown robe and has a big smile on his face.
MagicBand+ Explained
MagicBand+ is the latest iteration of MagicBand, which guests can use in place of a physical ticket to enter Disney Parks, attach PhotoPass pictures, make purchases, and more. It is available at Walt Disney World Resort and was also the first version of the series to launch at Disneyland Resort. It recently launched as DisneyBand on Disney Cruise Line.
Unlike previous styles, these newer bands interact with the environment of Disney Parks. They light up and vibrate, synching up with Disney attractions and nighttime spectaculars. They interact with Disney Fab 50 statues and can be used to play games like Disney Fab 50 Quest at Walt Disney World and Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters is at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park. The latest band interaction has also begun with Disney100 decorations at Disneyland Resort.

‘The Mandalorian’ on Disney+
“The Mandalorian” is a Disney + original and exclusive space western series following a lone bounty hunter and his mission to protect force-sensitive child Grogu from the clutches of Imperial remnants five years of the Galactic Empire’s collapse. It stars Pedro Pascal as the titular Mandalorian (Din Djarin) and just recently wrapped its third season.
“The Mandalorian season 3 was nominated for 9 Emmy Awards. “Obi-Wan Kenobi” and “Andor” were also nominated.
The next “Star Wars” Disney+ show, “Ahsoka,” is a spin-off from “The Mandalorian” starring Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano and Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren. The first two episodes will premiere on August 23.
