New Concept Art and Logo Revealed for DVC Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground

During the annual DVC Condo Association Meeting, Disney shared new concept art for the DVC cabins coming to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The 350 new Disney Vacation Club cabins are replacing the current cabins and are projected to open in 2024.

When Disney announced the cabins in April 2023, they released the above concept art and said the cabins “would be built with an eye toward the environment, utilizing the footprint of the existing cabins and taking advantage of more energy-efficient features.”

DVC Fan (@TheDVCShow) shared images from the meeting, which reveal the logo for the DVC cabins, as well as more concept art.

The hexagonal logo is green with “The Cabins of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort” in white sans-serif font. “Cabins” is the largest word and a tree is in the center of the “a.” An orange circle at the top resembling the sun has a double tower silhouette within it.

The redesigned cabins will still feature bunk beds. Concept art also shows a Murphy bed that can be pulled down over a couch.

Here is more of what Disney has said about the cabins:

Design concepts offer a fresh take on the current cabin experience and are inspired by the resort’s idyllic setting, while also paying homage to the resort’s unique culture and heritage through the magic of Disney storytelling. Each proposed, stand-alone cabin offers spacious accommodations, sleeping up to six adults, and features a bedroom, bathroom, living room, full kitchen and private patio. A select number of cabins are also expected to be dog-friendly.

This project is part of a larger update to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, which also includes the recent refurbishment of Trail’s End Restaurant and Crockett’s Tavern. New composite exterior seating outside Crockett’s Tavern replaced wooden furniture and metal picnic tables. A new building, likely for Cast Members, is under construction on the former site of Tri-Circle-D Ranch near Pioneer Hall. A new larger Tri-Circle-D Ranch facility opened in June 2020.
