Country Bear Musical Jamboree Entrance Clock Refurbished, Portraits Added at Attraction Exit

The Country Bear Musical Jamboree has some new additions at Magic Kingdom, with the entrance clock finally refurbished and portraits of the bears added at the exit.

Sign for "Country Bear Jamboree" with showtimes from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, mounted on a wooden wall with a window to the right.

Since the attraction’s reopening following its reimagining into Country Bear Musical Jamboree, we’ve been waiting to see when the entrance clock would receive its pendulum. Above is what the clock has looked like since it reopened this summer.

A wooded sign displays "0 Minutes Until Our Next Show" with a schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Now, the clock has a shiny new goldtone pendulum. However, when we spotted it on October 11, it was not swinging. The clock will likely be fully operational soon.

A close-up shows that “GH” is emblazoned on the pendulum, which stands for “Grizzly Hall,” where the Country Bear Musical Jamboree is performed.

Bears Portraits Added at Theater Exit

Another update is that the smaller portraits of the bears found in the lobby have also been added to part of the exit queue for the attraction. The art is all unused Marc Davis concept art for characters in the original Country Bear Jamboree.

Above is the portrait of a group of bears in a marching band.

An ornate oval frame displays an illustrated animal wearing a red hat and scarf, playing a stringed instrument. A music stand is in the background.

This bear is a one-man band, complete with hi-hat cymbals, a guitar, and a harmonica.

This marching band bear has his own drum with hi-hat cymbals, a tambourine, and a trumpet.

Three wooden doors with "Caution: Automatic Door" signs above them are set in a hallway with green and brown walls. The floor is wooden with a yellow line near the doors.

These portraits were only added to the bottom front exit of the theater. They are also still present in the lobby. Check out our full tour of Grizzly Hall from when Country Bear Musical Jamboree opened this summer.
