Christmas decorations have quickly been popping up around Universal Orlando Resort, as early as Halloween day. Now, with the addition of the Christmas tree in Universal Studios Florida, the decorations finally seem complete.
Universal Studios Florida Christmas Tree
The massive Christmas tree has arrived at the entrance of Universal Studios Florida, just before Illumination’s Minion Land. The tree is dotted with colorful ornament balls of various colors and sizes. The circular base is red with lattice patterning and a gold background with snowflakes patterned. The star on top is also red and gold, matching the base pattern.
We found the spot where Earl the Squirrel belongs (no spoilers) but he isn’t there yet.
Holiday Decorations in New York
Lamps in the courtyard at New York Street were given festive decorations.
Santa hats rest on top of the lamps, and red bows are tied below them. Garland with red holly wraps around the neck to the base.
Garland lines the facade to Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon and nearby structures.
A small cow ornament can be seen on the garland of the facade for the now-defunct “Twister… Ride it Out” attraction, which closed in 2015 to make room for Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon.
A monkey ornament hangs from the Angela Gallery store facade.
Decorations continue on buildings.
The “I. Stein & Co.” building is lined with garland covered in gold and red ornament balls, ending with a glittery red stocking overflowing with ornaments.
The “R.H. Macy & Co.” building features garland across the pillars and over the clock above the entrance. The awning over the entry doors are topped with small Christmas trees and bordered by garland.
Blue ribbons and garlands line the locker entrance for Revenge of the Mummy.
Snowflakes hang from the archway and pink snowflakes line the garland bordering the arch.
The fire station facade once used for a Ghostbusters performance and now houses a portion of the track for Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, has a wreath on the side door.
Closer inspection reveals Slimer may have left some residue behind on some of the ornaments.
Earl the Squirrel References in New York
The Embryo Books facade now features references to Earl the Squirrel, the holiday mascot of Universal Orlando Resort.

Looking inside the store, a black-and-white portrait of Earl can be seen on the psychic’s table by her crystal ball.
The portrait has Earl’s autograph on the bottom right.
The same red poster seen on the Psychic Shop window can be seen in the window of Macy’s as well.
The right entrance door to Priscilla Hotel has two posters taped up.
The top poster is a black-and-white variant of the one seen in the windows of Macy’s and the Psychic Shop. Below that is the same advertisement found on the Embryo Books window.
The E.A. Bowker & Sons Hardware Company window features more posters.
A green variant of the sketched flyer is on the front of the window and the informational flyer is on the right side.
The Morris Gallagher door has the sketched flyer in black.

Holiday Decorations in Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley
More decoration have arrived at the Wizarding World following our last visit.
Outside the entrance to Diagon Alley, by the Knight Bus, are fences lined with garland and lamps with wreathes.
The facade of British flats have garland on some fences and a wreath on one.
Another facade has garland across the awning over three entry doors and two wreathes bookending them.
The arched windows of Leicester Square Station are bordered with garland and a wreath in the center of each window frame.
Trees stand by the ATM.
The Screed & Sons facade windows are bordered with garland.
Wreaths and trees decorate the entrance to King’s Cross.
Decorations in Diagon Alley begin right away with two wreathes at the magical brick wall entrance.
Garland, wreathes, and other ornamentations decorate each of the shops in the narrow alley.
Floral garland decorates the arched entrance to Flourish & Blotts, and a wreath is on the door.
Decorations are on the entrance to The Daily Prophet as well.
Pink ribboned garland decorates Madam Malkin’s clothing store.
The same garland design carries over inside the store.
Yarn ornaments hang from garland on the sign to Spindlewarps Woolshop.
Branches run through the garland and wreath across the facade to Ollivanders.
Garland hangs along the second-floor banister inside the wand shop.
Garland made from white feathers and pinecones line the top of Eeylops Owl Emporium and a matching wreath rests on the entrance door.

A dead branch wreath hangs over the entrance to Borgin and Burkes.

Garland accented by gold stars and other gold ornaments line the jewelry store.
Decorations at MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack
Not many decorations have been added to this attraction except for a few trees in the MIB Gear Shop.
Silver trees with green and white ornaments have been added inside the entrance windows and by the anime merchandise section.
Decorations at E.T. Adventure
Some garland was added to the checkout register at the ET merchandise store.
Decorations in Hollywood
Garland decorates the Universal Studios Radio Broadcast Center facade.
Purple and silver garland line the brim of The Brown Derby Hat Shop and the entrance awning supports.
Wreaths were placed around the portrait statues and second-floor window at Carrozzeria De Paolo Motoring Accessories.
Blue bows decorate the lamps at the entrance to The Bourney Stuntacular. A nearby lamp has Santa hats and a star decoration on it.
Garland with red and gold ornament balls line the facade for The Beverly.
Similar garland runs down the columns of Max Factor Make-Up Studio.
Schwab’s Pharmacy has some garland hanging under the sign and large wreaths on the windows.
A large wreath and garland decorate the Five & Dime facade.
Garland decorates the vertical sign and camera-style entrance for The Darkroom facade.
Large red bows, a red ornament wreath, and garland decorate Ralph’s.
Williams of Hollywood has wreaths on the top floor windows and garland across the entrance.

Decorations in Illumination’s Minion Land
The Bake My Day store has pink wreaths on the walls with white, yellow, and pink ornament balls.
Trees in the same style as the wreaths are placed around the store displays.
Black and silver trees with red and purple ornaments are placed around the Villain-Con store.
The Super Silly Stuff store is decorated with blue and yellow trees with blue, pink, and white ornament balls.
Decorations at the Universal Studios Store
The Studio Store is decorated with windows featuring different characters in holiday settings. Banners above the windows have gold ribbons for a holiday style.
The first window features Max, The Grinch, and Cindy-Lou Who from “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
Another window features characters from “Trolls” in front of a holiday background with string lights, ribbons, ornaments, and one dressed as a Christmas tree. Branch and Poppy are wrapped up in red glittery ribbons and stand in front of a pink present box.
Another window features Earl the Squirrel on Santa’s sleigh waving. Snowflakes pattern the background and Santa is jumping on the left side. Above Santa is a tag reading “Universal’s Holiday Parade – Featuring Macy’s.” a red star with the Macy’s logo is below the sleigh as well. The bottom-right corner of the window reads “Tis the Season!”
This window features Earl the Squirrel driving a plaid pickup truck with a decorated Christmas tree in the back through a snowy forest. Two more decorated trees are to the left of the truck.
This window features the Minions on a dancefloor with multicolored lights. Garland hands above them and the wreath rests on the DJ podium. Gifts are strewn behind them and Bob is holding garland wrapped around antlers on Kevin.
Inside the store, garland hangs around light fixtures, and trees are placed between shelves.

Decorations at Universal CityWalk
NBC Sports Grill & Brew lacks any exterior decorations but has a few inside.
Four Christmas trees with gold accents stand at the entrance.
Four trees bookend the entrance to Universal Studios Store.
Small metal frame trees with lights are placed behind the register.
The tops of the shelves are decorated with Santa knick-knacks, presents, ornaments, and small trees.
Toy soldiers and a retro snowman rest on the other side of the kiosk.

Trees are placed by columns and in corners with blue and gold ornament balls.
