Marvel has announced another X-Men actor joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe with “Avengers: Doomsday” — James Marsden.

Marsden portrayed Scott Summers / Cyclops in Fox’s “X-Men” trilogy and a cameo in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” (2014). He joins Ian McKellen (Magneto), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), Rebecca Romijn (Mystique), Patrick Stewart (Professor X), and Kelsey Grammer (Beast) in the move to the MCU. Stewart and Grammer already appeared as variants of their X-Men in MCU films.

Marvel Studios is announcing the “Avengers: Doomsday” cast one name every few minutes with an hours-long livestream. Stay tuned for more announcements.
