Universal Sweets has opened at the entrance of Universal Studios Florida, taking over the former On Location building and replacing Studio Sweets. The On Location gift shop closed in January, and Studio Sweets closed in February. The latter was part of Universal Studios Store, and the space has been turned into an extension of the store.
Universal Sweets
Exterior
Universal Sweets is on the right after entering Universal Studios Florida. As On Location, the building was shades of teal blue. It was repainted with a new gray and blue color scheme. It received decorative piping above the entryways.
The general shape of the building remains the same, including two sets of entrance doors.

The Universal Sweets signs, revealed a few days ago, have “Sweets” in large colorful lettering. “Universal” is smaller white lettering.

A sign outside one entrance advertises fresh made fudge inside.
Interior

Though hard to see from outside, the windows and doors are decorated with colorful circular decals.
A section of rounded black flooring is at each entrance, jutting into white speckled flooring.
The gray and blue color scheme continues inside, with blue stripes running along the tops of the walls and curving down to the floor.
There is a colorful mural on the walls behind the check-out counter and bakery cases.
“Universal Sweets” is at the center of the mural with stripes of color fanning out from it. There are more circular decorations on the mural.
The cash wrap and bakery cases are blue with silver striping. The counters are white.
Strips of light cut across the ceiling. The display shelves in the center of the room are silver, white, and blue.
There are small spotlights lining the space.

Built-in shelves along one wall have illuminated panels above them featuring colorful stars.
Pre-Packaged Snacks & Souvenirs

None of the food or souvenirs at Universal Sweets are new. They include some of the “Wicked”-inspired snacks, including marshmallow pops, rice crispy treats, and rock candy treats. There are other rock candy treats and boxed snacks inspired by Minions, Trolls, Dr. Seuss, “Jaws,” Spider-Man, and “E.T.” Souvenir sippers include the giant pink donut-shaped sipper inspired by “The Simpsons” and a Minion-shaped sipper, both $20 and including a free fill.
Some of the candy is branded with the Universal Sweets packaging that debuted earlier this year. Rock candy is $15, mints are $6, jumbo jawbreakers are $6, and salt water taffy is $10.

The Toothless popcorn bucket is available for $34.99. There are candy bars, PEZ dispensers, and astronaut ice cream.
Bagged candy like candy sours, chocolate-covered pretzels, and gummies are $8.

There is a plethora of cotton candy, inspired by properties like Hello Kitty, Dr. Seuss, Jurassic World, and Minions. A tub of cotton candy is $7.
In addition to the big pink donut sipper, there are actual Lard Lad Donuts with chocolate or strawberry frosting. One donut is $10.99.

More Universal Sweets-branded items include various bagged popcorn flavors for $10 each.

Candy-filled straws are $3, and marshmallow rope is $4.
Candy bar flavors include milk chocolate with rice crisps, milk chocolate with caramel, regular milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and cookies and créme.
