Expedition Everest has scrim installed in the loading and unloading areas. Disney has not announced a refurbishment or any closure information, so the ride will likely remain open during this time.

Large beige-colored scrim has been installed in the loading and unloading areas of Expedition Everest. Nothing else looked out of place.
It appears there will be some light refurbishment work taking place, although the ride will likely remain open. The ride closed for a lengthy refurbishment back in 2022. Earlier in 2025, Disney filed a permit for mechanical work.

The beige scrim does block guests from looking out at the attraction while loading into the trains and after the ride has concluded.
