Updated Guidemap

After the permanent closure of DinoLand in Disney's Animal Kingdom, a new guidemap has debuted in the park.

The new map removes all DinoLand attractions that closed at the end of the day on February 1, 2026. This included the DINOSAUR attraction, The Dino Institute Shop, Restaurantosaurus, and Cretaceous Trail.

Other areas of the land, including the Boneyard and Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama, closed in in 2025. The guidemap states “Future Home of Tropical Americas.”

Tropical Americas will take its place, including an all new Encanto-themed attraction, an Indiana Jones attraction (re-themed from DINOSAUR), and more new experiences. It’s expected to open in 2027.

Other pages of the guidemap share information regarding guest services, transportation, park rules, and more. It also advertises attractions like Zootopia: Better Zoogether, animal trails, shows, and Wilderness Explorers.

Take a final look at DINOSAUR, Restaurantosaurus, and the character meet and greets. In addition, Tropical Americas has replaced DinoLand, U.S.A. on the Adventurers Outpost meet and greet backdrop in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
