Batuu West features several new characters as part of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge officially shifts to the original trilogy’s timeline, including Darth Vader.

Darth Vader & Imperial Stormtroopers

The menacing and mysterious Darth Vader leads the Galactic Empire using the power of the dark side. This infamous Sith Lord is completely loyal to his mater, Darth Sidious. And together, they rule the galaxy as master and apprentice.

Darth Vader and two Imperial Stormtroopers canvas the First Order Garrison area searching for Rebels and spies. They replace Kylo Ren, performing an interrogation with onlookers before roaming the land to search for Luke Skywalker, who is also now appearing in the land.

Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland

So far, the changes we’ve noticed around Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland leading up to the original trilogy timeline shift have been minimal. Oga’s Cantina recently reopened after a months-long refurbishment, but the work mostly involved general maintenance with only minor references changed, and after a short closure to “acquire more treasures,” Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities reopened with some new props around his shop.
