Construction is underway on Annette’s Diner in Disney Village at Disneyland Paris. The 1950s-style diner closed in January for a reimagining.

DLP Works shared photos of the construction site. Scaffolding is being installed on the restaurant’s facade after a reworking of the surrounding pavement.
Earthworks is complete for construction of a new backstage support facility behind the restaurant. The facility will include offices, meeting rooms, restrooms, technical rooms, and cold storage areas.
Unlike other recent refurbishments in Disney Village, Annette’s Diner will keep its retro American 1950s theming. Below is what the diner looked like before and concept art for its reimagining.

Other recent Disney Village changes include the demolition of the original McDonald’s and the opening of a new McDonald’s. The new Pelé Soccer, Disney Wonders, and Casa Giulia will open this year. The cinema will go through a refurbishment and name change. There are rumors the Rainforest Cafe will close and the Frank Gehry building will be demolished.
